Ingredients:
Rice - 1cup
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Onions finely sliced -2
Green chillies slit lengthwise -3
Cardamoms -few
Cloves -2
Saunf -2tsp
Bayleaves -2
Procedure:
Rice - 1cup
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Onions finely sliced -2
Green chillies slit lengthwise -3

Saunf -2tsp
Bayleaves -2
Procedure:
- Wash rice and dal together. Add one and half measures of water.
- Add oil in a pan. Fry the cloves, cardamoms, saunf and bayleaves.
- Add onions and chillies fry a little.
- Add the soaked rice,dal and salt. Then pressure cook.
- Serve hot with onion, tomato raita.
